Find your way around the sidebar

1The menu groups

Everything lives in the left sidebar, grouped by purpose. Items you don’t have permission for simply don’t render — nothing is hidden behind a settings screen.

1. My Workspace — Buzz, ConnectHive, My Info, Leave, ESS Hive, Requests (My Requests and Approvals), FileHive, Overtime, Time and Coop.
2. People — PIM, Directory, KPI, IPCR and Memos.
3. Company — ToolsHive, PolicyHive, AssetHive and Surveys (plus admin tools for Admins).
4. Learning, Payroll, Talent & AI and System — the LMS, payslips, hiring, reports and admin panels.

2The top bar

The header works the same on every page.

1. The search icon finds people and records quickly.
2. The bell opens notifications — the badge caps at “99+”.
3. The app launcher switches between BeeConnected apps.
4. The footer icon signs you out.

3Why my menu looks different

Menus are role-aware. Employees don’t see Overtime or Leave admin tabs; supervisors gain an Approvals tab; Admin and Executive gain Payroll, Hiring, Reports and System.

1. Applicants see a single My applications item.
2. LMS-only training accounts get a stripped-down Learning sidebar.
3. If something you need is missing, ask your Admin to grant the role — don’t assume it was removed.

4Change how it looks

Groups collapse and expand, and your choice is remembered on that device. The mobile layout moves the sidebar behind a hamburger button at the top-left.
